3rd Winchester Scouts Fundraising Hike Camp

On a beautiful Saturday morning, the 3rd Winchester Scouts set off on a special fundraising hike, ready for a day of adventure, teamwork and plenty of miles!

Starting from the furthest point, the Scouts made their way along the route to meet up with our Cubs. After a well-earned break and some lunch together, we continued along the beautiful Clarendon Way, where we met our Beaver Colonies.

For the final stretch, we were joined by our Squirrels, bringing the whole group together for the last part of the journey to Pinsent Campsite.

Once we arrived, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved group barbecue, followed by an evening of camping for some of our young people. Although we had a campfire ban in place, that didn't stop us from creating our own! With fairy lights creating a magical 'campfire', everyone gathered around together to sing and enjoy the evening.

It was a fantastic day of walking, fundraising and bringing all our sections together - a brilliant example of the scouting spirit in action. A huge well done to everyone who took part!
